      March 1st - May 20th

      Registration opens on March 1st and closes on May 20th. Be sure to sign up before the deadline to secure your spot!

      Round 1

      June 1st - August 17th

      Round 1 kicks off on June 1st! Participants will compete during this period, so be sure to stay engaged and give it your best effort.

      Round 1 Results

      September 7th

      Round 1 results will be announced on September 7th. Team leaders will receive the results directly, so stay tuned for updates and next steps! Have Your Twitter DM OPEN!!

      September 7th - November 23rd

      Round 2 begins on September 7th and runs until November 23rd. Participants who advance will continue competing, so stay focused and give it your best effort! Never give up! You can do it!

      deredere chorus battle, abridged as DDCB² for its second run, is a mostly themeless trio chorus battle. Participants can join with entries of any genre and languages in teams of three vocalists and up to six staff-only members!

      Rules₊ ⊹

      TEAM REQUIREMENTS

      • Participants may only be on ONE TEAM at a time.

      • Your team must have 3 VOCALISTS and can have total of 6 STAFF - ONLY MEMBERS– 9 members total.

      • Anonymous participants are allowed, but your identity must be disclosed to DDCB staff and judges during registration!

      • Your team roster must be COMPLETE (consisting of 3 vocalists and at least 1 staff-only OR double member) to register.

      • Vocalist doubles do not fill staff-only slots!

      • Unlimited changes may be made to your roster during the registration period.

      • If your team is eliminated, you are permitted to join another team, unless you were eliminated for rule-breaking or disqualified.

      • Bullying or mistreatment of any kind (within teams, between teams, toward DDCB staff, etc.) will not be tolerated and will risk immediate disqualification.

      • Collaboration between teams or outside/uncredited persons on entry-related work will result in immediate disqualification.

      • Commissioning someone outside of your team is not allowed.

      REGARDING ENTRIES

      • Absolutely no use of generative AI in the process of producing your entry. Using generative AI will result in immediate disqualification.

      • Entries may be of any genre, and mashups/rearrangements ARE permitted, but must be credited properly. Using pre-made mashups/arrangements is allowed. Original songs are allowed.

      • Entries may be sung in any language.

      • Entries must be at least 2:00 long, and no longer than 6:00.

      • Translyrics are permitted. Pre-made translyrics must be properly credited, or you will be disqualified for plagiarism.

      • Your entry's description must properly credit each member of the team, as well as include the original songs' credits. Failure to credit properly will result in a deduction to your score.

      • Please keep team names, entries, etc. at a general rating of PG-13. Cursing and moderately suggestive themes are permitted, but please limit them for the safety of minors.

      • NSFW themes will result in immediate disqualification.

      SUBMISSION

      • Please upload your entry with "【DDCB2-R#】" in the title, along with your team's name.

      • Please provide a link to your Theme Interpretation, Alternative Upload Link, Final Mix (MP3, .wav, & acapella), Illustrations, Script, and Asset List in the ENTRY SUBMISSION FORM. Failure to provide these will result in a deduction to your score.

      Scoring₊ ⊹

      • Scoring is done on a 200-point system, divided into 100 points for Audio and 100 points for Visuals.

      • Limited critiques will be available for this chorus battle.

      • Judges are entitled to their own opinion, but scoring will be done based on a set of standardized criteria related to each category. Any concerns with scoring must be brought up with the organization team and NO ONE else.

      • Judges have been chosen for their experience in their category and should not be subject to discrimination against their skill due to their judging.

      • Regarding Grace Period, we will deduct 1 point for every hour that passes after the deadline for up to 24 hours.

      • Rendering issues may cover up to 6 hours, with a grace deduction of only 3 points instead of 6 points. A valid, timestamped screenshot must be provided. Failure to provide a screenshot before the deadline will result in full grace deductions being applied to your score.
